Once…Twice.. Three Times…

Welcome to another exciting update. Sorry for the lack of communication over the last few weeks, I’m getting over some personal health issues, but we’re back in the saddle once more with the updates. So why are we here and how did we get here? I think it’s best explained that it’s just honestly the skeleton crew running the show at this point. We’ve not thrown in the towel on our project because well, there’s really no reason to. We’ve continued to keep you guys focused on the social networking, and the website continues to draw people in. So why would we want to cancel our voice? It’s all rubbish if you ask me.

So I want to take you back to some statements that were made by other websites years and years ago.  It was stated that we were “Defunct”. We never disappeared. Never went offline, the station has always been maintained by at least 2 of us at any given day. There wasn’t much news to report after some time because honestly the horrorcore genre suffered some pretty egregious hits after so many people decided to leave the game, labels split, or some of our favorites moved on in life. So we whittled down the news team, because honestly outside of Convention appearances, and small tours, very few in the game remained on tour. So we had to adjust to something new and different. Much like the fans, these websites don’t understand what it takes to remain active an open for 22 years, and to maintain it the way we have. It’s simple. Content. We have thousands of hours of content on here & on our social networking.

Many of the past crew can tell you, that doing any type of broadcasting is a devotion, it takes talent, time and, most of all patience with your own process. I don’t think we’d be here today without the fans, who taught us how to react. When we got started we were angry young adults, who settled into being just adults, with a massive portal, or outlet we could tap into which as you folks out there in the world. A long time ago, back when there were reputable websites, with reputable people working for them, I would tell you that we left the news up to them, because we were almost completely live at all times, but those things change, and we remained just a website that did live interviews, played some dope music, and wrote pieces when we wanted to. That’s never changed.

What did change? Time. Some of us grew up, or grew out. I get questions all the time about DJ’s, people who were close to us, people who are no longer with us as well. It tells me that there’s still a lot of care out there and we’re happy that people still tune in on HollyDayRadio App or Tune In App, or through the website, or if they jump on The Booth on our social networking platforms. It’s nice to make a public appearance and just be happy to talk to you all. It’s also nice to not have to stress out about a million different things. We wanted this new stuff to be about having fun again. Not being so serious. So we’ll see how this run goes. I hope you guys have a good one, and understand, it’s just us.
